Poker at GemBet, for players in Singapore
GemBet has two places to play poker: live dealer tables streamed from studios, and RNG poker games you play at your own pace. This guide shows what is in each lobby, how a hand plays out and how to make sure you are on the real GemBet.
Two lobbies
Live dealer or RNG poker: how they differ
Both are casino poker. You play your hand against the dealer or a paytable, not against other players, so there is no bluffing and no reading the table. What changes is who deals and how fast the game moves.
| Question | Live dealer poker | RNG poker |
|---|---|---|
| Who deals | A dealer on a live video stream from a studio | Game software, using a random number generator |
| Pace | Each round has a betting window, and the table moves on when it closes | You start every hand yourself and take as long as you like |
| You play against | The dealer's hand | The dealer's hand, or a paytable, depending on the game |
| Where to find it on GemBet | Live Casino, then the Poker filter | Slots, then the Table Games filter |
| Games in the lobby | Casino Hold'em, Ultimate Holdem Poker, Russian Poker, Six Card Poker VIP and more | Joker Poker, Casino Hold'em Poker, High Hand Hold'em Poker and more |

Getting started
From sign-up to your first hand
- Create a GemBet account and verify your email address. Use your real name: it has to match the name on your payment method.
- Deposit in SGD or crypto. GemBet takes Singapore dollars and major cryptocurrencies such as USDT.
- Open the right lobby. Live Casino with the Poker filter for dealer tables, or Slots with the Table Games filter for RNG poker.
- Read the rules panel first. Every game has its own rules and paytable, and they differ between providers, even for games with the same name.
GemBet checks your ID before your first withdrawal and may ask for proof of age at any time.

Make sure it is the real GemBet
Copies of casino sites borrow a brand's name and colours to collect logins and deposits. GemBet's own site has a GemBet Authenticator for checking a website, social media page, agent username or phone number before you trust it.
18+ and within limits
Poker at GemBet is for adults only. Decide your budget before you sit down and stop when it is spent. GemBet's T&Cs set out time-outs, from 24 hours to two months, and self-exclusion.
Questions before you play
Can I play poker against other players on GemBet?
The poker in GemBet's Live Casino and Table Games lobbies is casino poker: each hand is played against the dealer or a paytable, not against other players.
What is the difference between live and RNG poker?
Live dealer poker is dealt by a person on a video stream, on a fixed timer. RNG poker is dealt by software, and you play each hand at your own pace. The comparison above sets out the rest.
Which welcome offer goes with live poker?
Live poker is part of GemBet's live casino, whose welcome offer is 100% up to SGD 330. You can claim one welcome bonus only, and the Bonus T&Cs say which games count towards its wagering.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. GemBet runs in a mobile browser, so you do not need to download an app.
